NEW YORK (Circa) — Room for Tea is the first tea-themed art pop-up in New York City. The exhibit features 5 main scenes and 18 visual highlights inspired by worldwide tea culture and its influence in NYC.
Guests can throw life-sized boba (the tiny, chewy black balls made of tapioca) into hoops on a BOBA court or take a stroll down the street in "Hong Kong."
Scenes include: “Labyrinth of Tea Origin”, “Milk Tea Metropolis”, “Matcha under Cherry Blossom”, “Summer BOBA Court” and “Mint Tea Secret Box."
General admission also includes a complimentary BOBA tea from one of 6 New York tea shops. Every ticket sold helps the Trees for the Future organization to plant one tree.
Tickets cost $23. Room for Tea (371 Broadway) is open August 28 through September 22.
