These rides are only for the craziest thrill-seekers

WASHINGTON (Circa) — The hunt for the best adventure rides in the nation never stops. In that endeavor, make sure to check these attractions out. These rides may be too hard to pass up, but not too hard to pass out on.

Giant Canyon Swing, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park
This isn't the average swing ride. Sure, riders are strapped in and tossed back and forth at dizzying heights, but there's an added element here. Giant Canyon Swing dangles its riders 1,300 feet above the Colorado River! So while riders are swinging at 50 mph, their direct line of sight is the sun or depths of the Earth.

Slingshot, Cedar Point
Videos of people passing out on riding on the Slingshot all over social media. They typically show riders being catapulted straight up to 360 feet in the air and at speeds of up to 62 mph. The ride has become so popular there's an extra fee for it on top of admission. Don't worry. The nap is definitely worth it.

The Orlando Starflyer
Speaking of swings, how about the tallest one in the world? Starflyer, which opened in 2018, stands at 450 feet and can swing up to 24 people at time at 60 mph. However, the president of Unicorp, the company that built the ride, says it will typically operate at 45 mph because it's a comfier speed.
