(WEAR) — A recall has been issued for a series of blending containers.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Vitamix has recalled their Ascent and Venturist Series 8-ounce and 20-ounce blending containers.

The containers can separate from the blade’s base, which exposes the blades and poses a threat of getting a cut or laceration.

Vitamix has already received 11 reports of lacerations by consumers, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

If you have one of these blending containers, you’re asked to call Vitamix for information on getting a free repair kit.
