Armored Combat League

These modern knights fight it out in the Armored Combat League

LINDENWOLD, N.J. (Circa) — Medieval Times meets mixed martial arts. In Armored Combat League people duel in full armor while using weapons.

Armored Combat League was started in 2012 by two friends named Jaye T. Brooks and Andre Sinou. They wanted to bring armored steel tournament fighting to the United States.

Now there are over 200 people in ACL and the league has teams based in 60 cities all around the world.

Unlike live-action role playing , ACL is not choreographed. The sport requires countless hours of training before a duel or match.
