This museum doubles as a playground and art exhibit

WASHINGTON (Circa) - For adults who want to relive their recess glory days, and kids who want an upgraded playground: this one is for you.

City Museum in St. Louis, Missouri is a found object exhibit that combines playground elements and architectural art to create an experience for all ages. Visitors can play on a 10-story slide, a variety of climbing tunnels and even inside a ball pit.

The museum is entirely composed of recycled objects from the city of St. Louis. Pieces of bridges are incorporated, an old school bus and even two abandoned planes right outside.

Artist Bob Cassilly and a team of 20 artisans built the museum. It opened to the public in 1997 and has kept up its popularity through the years. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to come play, but be ready to dress to move!
