LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A lucky player hit a jackpot of more than $3.2 million earlier this month on a machine located south of the Las Vegas Strip.

International Game Technology said in a statement a guest was playing its Wheel of Fortune machine at Silverton Casino Hotel, at Blue Diamond Road and Dean Martin Way, on June 9.

The winner, who asked to remain anonymous, placed a $5 wager on the game's video slots to win a total of $3,225,340, according to IGT.

The game's progressive jackpot started at $500,000.

It's the largest jackpot in the history of Silverton, the gaming company says.
