WASHINGTON (Circa) -- The tech giant Apple announced it will partner with Sesame Workshop, the non-profit media organization behind "Sesame Street" to create children's programming for their new streaming service.
Sesame Workshop will create all new original content for Apple, including a live-action animated puppet series.
Not included in this new deal are the characters at Sesame Street.
This is all part of Apple's push for original content.
The report comes only a week after apple announced a multi-year deal with Oprah Winfrey to create original programming for the tech company. The companies preparing to compete with Netflix,Amazon and other streaming services.
In a statement by Apple they said "together, Winfrey and Apple will create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world."
