BURIEN, Wash. -- Four cars have been struck by gunfire near Sea-Tac Airport in what the Washington State Patrol is terming an "active shooter incident."
No one has been hurt.
The shooting took place near the south side of the airport sometime around 1:30 p.m., troopers said. The shooter remains at large and troopers have shut down both directions of the road.
Investigators say there have been no additional reports of shots fired since the initial incident. Still, troopers and aircraft are searching the region for the shooter and are asking those in the area to "please remain vigilant and avoid the area" and if you see any suspicious activity, to call 911.
