Josh Holt to return home Monday evening; community invited to welcome him home


(KUTV) — Facebook page JusticeforJosh announced Monday morning that Josh Holt, the Utah man who was released from a Venezuelan prison, will arrive in Utah at 7:19 p.m. on Monday evening.

Holt was released from the Venezuelan prison on Saturday.

JusticeforJosh is inviting anyone and everyone to come and show support for Holt when he arrives.

Supporters will meet at the Salt Lake City International Airport at Delta Airlines terminal 2, Flight 939 by 6:45-7 p.m.

"Bring your welcome home signs," the page writes.

"We are so excited," the page writes. "Afterwards, we will follow them all to the Riverton City Park using dome building provided by our amazing Mayor for a homecoming Josh and Thamy will NEVER forget!"

As of Monday morning, Holt and his wife Thamy were receiving medical treatment at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
