WASHINGTON (Circa) -- There's a new online debate that is making everyone go nuts.
Cloe Feldman, a social influencer with her own clothing line, tweeted out a video of an audio recording. In the video, a voice can be heard saying a word.
The four second video has already garnered over 1 million views.
Online users are debating whether the voice is saying Yanny or Laurel. This debate might eclipse the infamous blue dress debate that went viral in 2015.
A Vox poll on Twitter with over 5,000 votes has majority saying they heard Laurel, as of Tuesday afternoon.
Talk show host Ellen DeGeners was also caught up in the hoopla and tweeted, "Literally everything at my show just stopped to see if people hear Laurel or Yanny. I hear Laurel."
It is unknown how the clip was made or whether it was altered in any particular way.
Yanny was a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday as many users began making jokes about the hilarious debate.
The thing definitely says Laurel, there's no way anyone could hear that as Yanny, anyone who says they do is lying for shock value, the end, gfy— Ted Berg (@OGTedBerg) May 15, 2018
Ah yes, The Laurel vs. Laurel debate. I can only hear Laurel, but most of my friends hear Laurel. Some people can't even read the difference between the two!— Amir Blumenfeld (@jakeandamir) May 15, 2018
