Donkey basketball entertains fans, including U.S. Senate candidate Mitt Romney

DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah (KUTV) - A Utah community turned out for rousing game of Donkey basketball, Thursday night.

The Duchesne County 4-H team won the game 44-42 over the Uintah County. One of the spectators at the event included U.S. Senate candidate Mitt Romney.

4-H is a program that allows children to learn by doing, experience new things and take on leadership opportunities with mentors. "Kids experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country—through in-school and after-school programs, school and community clubs and 4‑H camps," the organization's website states.

The event was sponsored by Uintah County 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) in conjunction with 4-H Leadermete.

All proceeds from the game go to local 4-H and FFA programs.
