David An comes on to discuss Adam Rippon on 'Dancing with the Stars'

LOS ANGELES (CIRCA) - "Dancing with the Stars" has always prided itself in giving us exactly what we want, in terms of contestants, whether we know we want it or not. The show -- famous for giving us both dancing AND stars, both ironic and not, has provided in spades by giving us that hearthrob of the ice Adam Rippon, and that violent hobbler-turned-beloved-biopic-subject, Tonya Harding. One is a superstar, one is a punchline-turned-figure-of-ironic-appreciation. What does our panel -- made up of our hosts, Ryan Mitchell, Shira Lazar, and our special guest David An, who can currently be seen in The Rock's new video game inspired movie "Rampage."

So, what does this trio think of the new stars who plan to do some dancing? Well, Shira and Ryan are surprised that Rippon is in there at all! Isn't "Dancing with the Stars" for stars on the decline? Rippon seems to be at the peak of his powers! Ryan expresses that he wishes Rippon didn't say yes at all. Martine wants to see Rippon doing his thing though, and he's exciting. David, however, wonders -- has anyone ever popped off from "Dancing with the Stars?" Well, yeah -- says Ryan -- but as a second act, not a first! Still, the list of faded sports celebrities is impressive -- Kareem Abdul Jabbar, anyone? -- and while seeing them dance will be strange, we embrace it. Shira wonders about the real question about Harding, saying, "I wonder who she's going to hurt?" Me too, Shira, me too.
