Report: Actor Will Ferrell hospitalized after a car accident


WASHINGTON (Circa) – Actor and comedian Will Ferrell was hospitalized after a car accident Thursday night, according to a report by People.

The report states that Ferrell, 50, was driving down the I-5 in Orange Country when he was sideswiped by another vehicle. Three other people were traveling with Farrell at the time of the accident.

Earlier in the evening Ferrell performed as his character Ron Burgundy from the movie “Anchorman” at a “Funny or Die” event. The accident took place after Ferrell left the function.

It is not known at this time what type of injuries Ferrell sustained. However, he was seen speaking on his cell phone as he was loaded into an ambulance.
