WASHINGTON (Circa) -- President Trump is set to pardon Dick Cheney's former chief of staff Scooter Libby.
ABC News reports this is something he has deliberating on for months. The President has already signed off on the pardon.
Most recently, Trump pardoned Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio who was found guilty of criminal contempt.
Libby was convicted of lying to the FBI during an obstruction of justice investigation. The FBI was looking into who leaked the secret identity of former covert CIA agent Valerie Plame.
President Bush commuted Libby's sentence but did not pardon him. Since the conviction, Libby's law license has been restored while his voting rights were given back to him by former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell.
This is a developing story.
