Google honors poet Maya Angelou with star-studded doodle for 90th birthday

Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, Laverne Cox and more Hollywood superstars came together to honor Maya Angelou.

The poet died in 2014, but she would have turned 90 today. In honor of Angelou's birthday, Google made an animated Doodle that features various celebrities reciting her poem "Still I Rise."

"Maya Angelou is not what she has done or written or spoken, it’s how she did it all. She moved through the world with unshakeable calm, confidence, and a fiery, fierce grace and abounding love."
Oprah Winfrey

In the Doodle, the poet herself can be heard reciting her poem alongside Keys, Cox, Winfrey, America Ferrera, Martina Bride and Guy Johnson.

People have been taking to social media to react to the doodle and praise a truly phenomenal woman.

Others are posting their favorite Maya Angelou quotes.
