WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- An job posting on Craigslist on Tuesday is drawing attention due to its description which matches current events involving the President of the United States.
The posting asks for "a lead attorney to represent client involved in an ongoing Federal investigation." The applicant "must be familiar with laws and procedures around discovery, executive privilege, international financing of licensed real estate, election law and the Logan Act."
It also asks that applicants have a working knowledge of social media, especially Twitter, and that the applicant has a familiarity with the adult film industry. Furthermore, "prior appearances on Fox News is a plus" and "basically your job boils down to keeping him from testifying under oath."
The posting is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and the client is a "hugely wealthy man. Hugely successful. Everyone says it."
President Trump's ongoing struggles with his legal team are being referenced in this posting in the wake of John Dowd's resignation. Dowd was Trump's lead attorney for the Russia meddling investigation being conducted by special prosecutor Robert Mueller. The resignation happened after Trump added former U.S. attorney Joseph diGenova to his team of attorneys.
diGenova has alleged in the past that FBI officials attempted to exonerate Hillary Clinton during the investigation into her emails. He also believes those same officials wanted to frame President Trump for nonexistent crimes. The lawyer has continuously made these accusations while appearing on Fox News.
Eventually, it was determined that diGenova couldn't join Trump's legal team due to "conflicts."
