Stormy Daniels says she was threatened by a man who told her to 'leave Trump alone'

WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- In an interview with Anderson Cooper on "60 Minutes," porn star Stormy Daniels says a man walked up to her and told her to "leave Trump alone."

Daniels believes this was a direct physical threat. The alleged threat came immediately after she spoke to In Touch Weekly about her relationship with the then-reality star in 2011.

During the 2011 interview with the gossip magazine, she said Trump was "very full of himself" after they first met one another. She also described being in a room with him by herself and how he told her that she reminded him of his daughter. He also told her not to worry about his wife - a point she also reiterated in Sunday's "60 Minutes" interview.

"I mentioned her. I was like, “Yeah, what about your wife?” He goes, “Oh, don’t worry about her.” Quickly, quickly changed the subject," Daniels said at the time in 2011 to In Touch Weekly.

The story, which has since been published, was never printed at the time after Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen threatened to sue the publication.

"I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter. T-- talking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, gettin' all the stuff out," Daniels said. "And a guy walked up to me and said to me, "Leave Trump alone. Forget the story." And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, "That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom." And then he was gone."

Despite the threat, Daniels decided not to go to police because she was scared but she reveals she would be able to recognize him even though she's never seen him again since the incident.

"Even now, all these years later. If he walked in this door right now, I would instantly know," Daniels said. "I was rattled. I remember going into the workout class. And my hands are shaking so much, I was afraid I was gonna-- drop (her child)."

Daniels also revealed she had unprotected sex with Trump in 2006. Towards the end of her interview with Cooper, Daniels says that Trump "knows I'm telling the truth."

The New York Times is reporting President Trump had dinner with Cohen on Saturday - the night before CBS' interview with Daniels would be released.

Daniels is currently suing Trump alleging that the hush agreement she signed with the President and Cohen is null and void. She has come to this conclusion because Daniels and Cohen sign the deal but not Trump himself. Trump's lawyer Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 in exchange for confidentiality.
