This new hybrid wooden roller is about to go down and they’re yelling "Timber!"

DOSWELL, Va. (Circa) - Kings Dominion amusement park in Virginia is about to unveil a new towering roller coaster called Twisted Timbers.

This ride challenges the limites of wooden roller coasters with a 109-foot-tall barrel roll drop and reaches speeds close to 54 miles per hour as it leaps riders over 20 airtime hills. There are also two inversions on the track waiting to surprise thrill seekers.

The ride is a the edge of Candy Apple Grove and themed to look like an unknown disaster ripped apart an orchard farm. The ride promises to give riders a similar experience to that "fateful day" and observe evidence from the "incident."
