Deputies with PBSO say Camille Balla, 32, called a coworker to ask for help because she thought she killed her mother.
The coworker then arrived to the house on 102 Country Club Way and found Balla standing outside covered in blood.
According to PBSO, deputies arrived to the scene and found Balla acting erratically with blood on her hands. Balla then told deputies, "I killed my mother, and I need help."
Balla then told deputies her mother was located in the garage. Deputies found who they believe to be Francisca Monteiro-Balla covered in deep lacerations to her body, and eyes removed from her head and placed in a cardboard box.
Deputies asked if Balla had consumed any drugs, and she said she had smoked marijuana. Deputies believe the marijuana to be laced with Flakka or PCP.
While being treated on scene, Balla mumbled, screamed, ran around, fell to the ground, and screamed, "I'm a murderer, I'm a murderer."
According to the report, deputies found many hand written messages in the garage that had a religious theme, related to clearing the soul.
Deputies found a white piece of paper located on the ground with suspected marijuana on top.
Balla is charged with first degree murder.
