The hard left politics gaining incredible ground in this country, inspired by the candidacy of Bernie Sanders, and the race for harder left leaning politics got a new unlikely candidate in Cynthia Nixon. Cynthia Nixon is best known for playing Miranda on Sex in the City, and will soon be known for trying to unseat Andrew Cuomo as New York Governor. Cynthia Nixon’s platform is to close the ever widening wage gap in New York City and make it a city more livable for all. Here to… sort of… discuss this are Ryan Mitchell, Shira Lazar and special guest, YouTuber Brandon Rogers.
Brandon Roders is a comedian who is here to promote his upcoming tour and his Facebook show, ‘Stuff n Sam’. So what does the trio think of the running of Cynthia Nixon? Ryan said he was happy to see her as a person and enjoyed his platform. Shira was glad her cast mates are supportive, and Ryan pointed out that Sarah Jessica Parker is feuding with Nixon, and Shira pointed out how its ironic the “slutty” one is feuding with the hard working one. The trio then went into a discussion about whether or not the word “slutty” is an offensive word or not. Brandon explores the difference between slutty and sexual, and Ryan points out you would not have called Carrie on Sex in the City slutty if she was a man. It is no doubt, discussions like these, stemming from Sex in the City, will help Cynthia Nixon keep her campaign in the papers as she attempts to bridge the wage gap in New York City.
