WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Four students were evaluated and two were taken to the hospital in connection to an overdose at an elementary school in D.C. Monday, according to authorities.
The D.C. Fire Department says they are on the scene at Patterson Elementary School at 4399 South Capitol Terrace, SW.
ABC7's Stephen Tschida reports the incident involved pills and that apparently only two of the students took them. Officials say the students are all conscious.
Tschida said one of the student's grandmothers told him the pills were some kind of medicine.
D.C. Police say they were called to the scene at around 2:04 p.m.
