ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A police officer in Anne Arundel County helped save a hurt seagull and took it to a wildlife sanctuary Sunday.
Anne Arundel County Police say that Cpl. Selander found the injured bird after it fell to the ground. The officer picked up the seagull and took it to Frisky's Wildlife Sanctuary in Woodstock.

The seagull is receiving treatment for its injuries at the sanctuary, police say.
