Man accused of stealing truck with lamb in back seat



PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KMPH) - A man stole a truck with a lamb in the back seat, officers say.

It happened Friday around 8:20 a.m. in the parking lot of Vallarta Market in Porterville.

According to CHP Porterville, a Ford F-250 was stolen from Goshen. The truck was reported to be seen east of Tipton.

With the help of CHP Air 41, the truck was found and followed all the way to Porterville.

CHP says the suspect pulled into the parking lot and fled on foot and into the market.

CHP says the man tried to exit the back of the market where he was taken into custody without incident.

Along with recovering the owner's truck, CHP Officers also saved a lamb which was in the back seat of the stolen truck during the entire incident.
