Highway Patrol: Up to 60 vehicles involved in Ohio highway crash


MORROW COUNTY, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- Ohio Highway Patrol is tending to a massive pileup involving up to 60 vehicles on I-71 in Morrow County, Ohio.

Dispatchers said at least 40 vehicles were involved in the wreck with several minor injuries reported.

This accident is believed to have occurred due to snow squalls in the area.

The highway is expected to be shutdown through rush hour.

All of I-71 northbound is shut down at Ohio Route 95 at mile marker 151 and may be closed for several hours, according to a highway patrol official. The southbound lanes between mileposts 154 and 155 are moving at 20 miles per hour.
