BROOK PARK, Ohio (WKRC) - After suffering severe injuries, a golden retriever named Chance is getting a new lease on life as a therapy dog, reports WJW.
Chance was found in November 2016 with a gunshot wound to his back leg. His front leg was also caught in a trap. He recovered and was put up for adoption, with over 80 families who wanted him.
Chance now works as a therapy dog with his mom, Heather Labuda, who teaches reading. Heather says Chance helps the children focus and stay calm.
