Cuteness alert: Pooches 'get married' in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (KUTV) - It wasn't your traditional nuptials, but two pooches in West Jordan joined paws for eternity during a tongue-in-cheek dog wedding.

Smoke and Duke were "married" by Smoke's owner Nicole Korth, who is an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church.

11-year-old Smoke usually has problems with other dogs. Korth says she's an alpha female and typically gets into fights.

But Smoke has been headed over to Duke's house weekly for years. Duke is one of the few dogs Smoke likes.

And now, they're "married."

Of course, the wedding isn't legal as dogs cannot marry.

A third dog at the event, Toby, was the "best man."

You can watch the ceremony above.

No word on how Smoke and Duke plan to spend their honeymoon.
