Furniture mover draws handgun on co-worker


FALMOUTH, Maine (WGME) -- A Connecticut man working for a furniture moving company was arrested Saturday night after he pulled a handgun on a co-worker during an argument in Falmouth, Maine.

Police said Carlos Smith, 39, of East Hartford, Conn. was arrested on charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and assault after the incident on Muirfield Road in Falmouth around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Smith was working during the time of his arrest after an argument over property damaged while being moved. The argument became physical, and police said Smith drew a handgun he was carrying and threatened the co-worker.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Smith is out on bail, and his first court appearance is scheduled for May 10.
