WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- Former reality TV personality Caitlyn Jenner spoke with CNN about what International Women's Day means to her.

Jenner says that her path to womanhood was very different but that she has "learned a lot."

"Women are brought up to kind of be a second-class citizen. Emotionally weaker. Physically weaker. I've always been inspired by strong women," she told CNN.

Jenner also posted her interview with CNN on Instagram with the caption, "Happy International Women's Day!"

Awkwardly, as The Daily Mail reports, Jenner's ex-wife Kris made no mention of her in a post discussing the holiday which celebrates women around the world.

Kris said in an Instagram post about her daughters, "I'm so proud of my girls and their hearts and what amazing moms they are and their work ethic."
