SEABROOK, NH (WGME) -- A baby seal is being cared for in Massachusetts after police in Seabrook, New Hampshire found it laying on the side of the road.
The Seacoast Science Center Marine Mammal Rescue says officers called them to Route 286, right on the New Hampshire/Massachusetts state line.
When the team arrived, they say it was clear the two-month-old seal needed care.
The seal was taken to the National Marine Life Center in Bourne, Massachusetts on a rescue truck.
No word yet on how the seal is doing, but the Seacoast Science Center says it was taken off the road and out of harm's way from Wednesday’s incoming storm.
