WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- Miami Police are investigating a van found in the Little Havana neighborhood with a 250 gallons of gasoline, according to WTVJ-TV.
Police have told WTVJ-TV that if one thing were to go wrong, it would be a "mobile bomb."
Authorities say they were called to the scene after a neighbor smelled a gas odor.
The neighbor also saw a gas substance dripping from the back of the van.
"This is a very, very serious issue. This is a mobile bomb that could have taken out half a block if detonated, or if somebody lit a cigarette around it," Miami Police Commander Freddie Cruz told WTVJ-TV.
