NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead this weekend for Daylight Saving Time.

It's again time to spring forward Sunday, March 11 at 2 a.m. local time.

The change brings back extended daylight during the evening hours. Unfortunately, it also means if you stick to your normal schedule Saturday night, you'll lose an hour of sleep.

But is it time for a change? Recent proposals have aimed to do just that.

In Tennessee, Rep. Rick Tillis, R-Lewisburg, introduced a bill to keep Daylight Saving Time year-round. That bill failed in a subcommittee Feb. 21.
