Police: 'Shooting with injuries' at the parking lot of Florida mall


WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- A 19-year-old was shot multiple times in Sanford, Fla. at the parking lot of Seminole Towne Center mall, according to WFTV.

Police say the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Monday outside of the Burlington Coat Factory store.

The 19-year-old is currently in stable condition in the hospital.

Police also say that officers secured and evacuated the mall.

BNO News reports the Seminole Towne Center opened in 1995 and is 18 miles northeast of Orlando, Fla. The site also says the mall has about 120 stores inside.
