Report: Hope Hicks could be offered book deals worth as much as $10 million

WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- Former White House communications director Hope Hicks could receive multiple book offers from publishers worth as much as $10 million, according to The Daily Mail.

"Next to Ivanka and Melania, Hope is the woman closest to the president, and knows all the secrets, all the foibles, all the quirks," a publishing executive told the online publication.

Publishers are hopeful that Hicks would write a book which would spill secrets about President Trump's inner circle as well as her affair with Rob Porter.

A White House insider also tells The Daily Mail that Hicks kept a diary which was detailed about interactions she had with the President as well as the work she did while serving in the White House.

A Hollywood producer also reportedly told Hicks, "What would it take to do your story as a mini-series or on the big screen? I can get the financing, like tomorrow, and make you rich and even more famous. You have an incredible story. Let's talk!"

New York literary agent Eric Myers tells The Daily Mail that Hicks could earn as much as $10 million "if she really did promise to throw the office doors wide open and tell all."

"If a book were to happen, it would undoubtedly be the subject of an auction among the major publishers, which would be a key factor in driving up the amount of the advance," Myers said.

Hicks resigned on Wednesday after serving in the Trump administration since the beginning of his presidency.
