VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) - Michelle Miller has found her way back to family members, after someone accidentally donated her remains to a Goodwill in Washington state last month.
Police stored her remains in evidence until they successfully contacted Miller's family.
Spokesperson Dale Emanuel said its not uncommon for accidents like this one to happen.
"Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette has more donors and receives more donations than any Goodwill in the world. So we get a mountain of all things."
Authorities will return Miller to her family in Tacoma, Wash.
