TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — According to the Tuscaloosa Police, a man tried to kidnap a nine-year-old boy Thursday morning.
The boy's mother told police a man approached the boy, demanding he get into his white SUV so he could "take him to school."
The boy ran home, and the suspect followed until being confronted by his mother. The boy's mother told police the man demanded he take her child to school, while clapping his hands saying that he "loved kids and he was going to take them."
