Ladies and gents, let me introduce you to Boris & Horton. Boris, a Pitbull mix from Puerto Rico and Horton, a Terrior mix from Houston are the faces of New York's first-ever dog-friendly cafe. Just your neighborhood coffee shop that actually allows you to dine with your dog!
Logan Mikhly, co-founder of Boris & Horton came up with the idea of opening a dog-friendly cafe with her dad, Coppy Holzman, after years of frustration needing to tie up their dogs outside just to grab a cup of coffee. Working closely with the Department of Health Mikhly and Holzman were able to come up with the perfect location. Boris & Horton has three different areas -- the street takeaway window, the indoor seating area where dogs are not allowed and finally the indoor seating area where you can dine with your dog. Boris & Horton operates as a normal cafe with a full menu of delicious human treats but also has a selection of some of the prettiest puppy treats!
And that's not all...
Collaborating with other neighborhood vendors, Boris & Horton has developed their very own shop filled with chew toys, decorative collars, hats, totes and an intense selection of trendy bandannas for your pup! They have also partnered with local rescue groups and frequently host events to find homes for adoptable dogs.
Whether you have a dog of your own or are just in need of some quick puppy love, go grab yourself a cup of coffee at Boris & Horton. How can you say no to this?
