The gun violence conversation has been turning a new page as of late, with many not just fed up with the constant massacres we’re surrounded by, but doing something meaningful about it.
Teenage survivors of the shooting are coming out on social media in order to voice their disgust and celebrities are giving money to the cause.
Two of them — George and Amal Clooney — have donated $500,000 to the Parkland Gun Control Advocacy Organization called the March for our Lives.
Here to discuss it are Shira Lazar, Ryan Mitchell, and our special guest — Sammi Hanratty - an actress who, amongst other roles, can be seen currently playing Kassidi on "Shameless."
The gang understandably soars right past the Clooneys to discuss the real story — these incredible teenagers speaking out about gun control that Shira hopes will lead to meaningful change throughout the world.
Ryan has huge hopes about this next generation being the one to run the country, hopefully setting common sense gun laws into action and so so much more. Ryan then goes into the smear campaign conspiracy theories — and how awful they are — saying this is not a liberal or conservative issue — this is a human life issue above all else.
Sammi jumps in at the end, saying she thinks that one of the positives has been seeing all these well spoken and strong children try to create true change in the world.
