NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Tennessee lawmaker wants Bible courses to be taught in schools.

The bill would require the Department of Education to make Bible course curriculums available on its website and adaptable by the Local Education Association (LEA).

Basically, the measure would require the DOE to let schools know that Bible courses are available.

Senators Sabi Kumar (R-Springfield) and Kerry Roberts (R-Springfield) are sponsoring the bill.
