Universal Studios Hollywood is going full-force for every holiday.
With their popular Halloween Horror Nights, and all-new Christmas at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter experience, the theme park and movie studio has been focusing on event-based activities, with the newest addition being a "Kung-Fu Panda"-themed Lunar New Year celebration.
Starting this week, the park will usher in the "Year of the Dog" with a series of new shows, experiences, and foods celebrating the new year.
The event features the all-new Jade Palace Performance Stage with a Dragon Warrior Training Show in an interactive martial arts experience, as well as real-life animators who demonstrate drawing techniques for "Kung-Fu Panda" characters that guests can take home as keepsakes.
Roaming the park you'll find Minions dressed in themed-costumes, as well as a Mandarin-speaking Megatron for photo ops under a curtain of customary red Chinese lanterns and plum blossom Wishing Trees. And naturally there's related food, so you can visit Mr. Ping's Noodle Shop for ramen and themed drinks.
The Lunar New Year is this Friday, February 16th, but the festivities run until the 25th.
