Dashcam shows Texas deputy dragged by suspected drunk driver



WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KEYE) - Surveillance footage shows a sheriff's deputy outside Austin, Texas put in a dangerous position during a traffic stop.

The video, published on Twitter, shows the deputy talking to the driver before she is dragged by the car down the street.

It's unclear exactly how far she was dragged or how she became stuck when the driver hit the gas.

"Stop!" she shouts.

"You have my foot!"

According to the Sheriff, Robert Chody, the deputy was lucky enough to walk away without any major injuries.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and cough syrup. Charges were pending at the time this post was published.
