FOXBORO, Mass. (WGME) -- Foxboro Police are investigating a reported break-in at the home of New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski.
Police got the call around 6 p.m. Monday.
The Patriots, including Gronkowski, landed from Minneapolis around 5 p.m.
Gronkowski briefly appeared at the door of his home, which is a few miles from Gillette Stadium, but did not say anything about the investigation, according to WFXT-TV.
“There were items stolen,” Foxboro Police Chief William Baker told WBZ-TV Tuesday morning. “We’re not going to release the nature of the items stolen.”
Baker told WBZ-TV the break-in happened while Gronkowski was away at the Super Bowl, but the chief did not say what day it occurred.
There were no other burglaries in the neighborhood at that time, according to WBZ-TV.
