Imagine you’re Elon Musk -- you're trying to go into space, you're trying to reinvent the electric car, so what is next on the docket? I think obviously selling four million dollars worth of flamethrowers, duh! The flamethrowers are branded with Boring Co -- Elon Musk's company. The flame throwers were meant mostly as a novelty -- in a sense a joke meant to celebrate selling hats and to raise money for his company since he knows they are exactly what his fans want. Musk mentioned online they are "guaranteed to liven up any party" and while Musk himself Tweeted that it was a "super terrible idea", he also added "unless you like fun", and hey, we like fun! Here to discuss Elon Musks's flame thrower salesmanship are our CircaPop Hosts Shira Lazar, Ryan Mitchell and our special guest -- Chris James, a magician and YouTuber.
Well, Shira says this does it for her -- this eccentric flamethrower selling entrepreneur. As Shira fawns over this however, Ryan Mitchell openly wonders -- isn't this cartoonishly irresponsibly dangerous? Shira thinks he could be bad in a relationship because he would be so focused on his work, and that she loves that the Boring Company is so focused on wild ideas. They then wonder about the company's liability regarding these flamethrowers, and frankly, I wonder too. Elon Musk, what are you doing!
