Wednesday will be a big day for Fiona, the world-famous hippo will not only celebrate her first birthday, she'll also be appearing in the first episode of the second season of "The Fiona Show."
The Cincinnati Zoo announced today that it will continue the show on Facebook that brings fans a behind-the-scenes look at Fiona. The show, which the zoo says has been very popular online, kicks off at 9:30 Wednesday morning. This season, you can add the show to your Facebook watch list and get a notification when there's a new episode.
In addition to the show, Fiona will also enjoy a one-of-a-kind cake for her firsts birthday, "it will be fun to let everyone see her reaction to that," said Christina Gorsuch, Cincinnati Zoo's curator of mammals.
Wednesday marks a major milestone for the beloved hippo. Fiona was born six weeks premature and was just 29 pounds when she was born, about half the weigh she should have been at birth. "The fact that she's alive today is a bit of a miracle," Gorsuch said.
The first season of "The Fiona Show" had more than 34 million views.
