Omarosa reportedly may have secretly taped White House conversations

President Trump’s outgoing aide Omarosa Manigault Newman may have secretly recorded confidential White House conversations, according to The New York Daily News.

The Daily News on Friday reported that Manigault Newman also fears getting entangled in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

“Everyone knows Omarosa loves to record people and meetings using the voice notes app on her iPhone,” a source disclosed.

“Don’t be surprised if she has secret audio files on everyone in that White House, past and present staffers included.”

The source added that the White House’s move earlier this month to ban personal cell phones inside the West Wing was tied to Manigault Newman’s history of recording conversations.

Manigault Newman’s formally concludes her last day with Trump’s administration Saturday after abruptly resigning last month.

A source said that Manigault has since held several exploratory meetings with multiple high profile attorneys for possible representation.

Manigault Newman has huddled with attorney Lisa Bloom, who once represented Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.

The departing director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison has also met with Monique Pressley, comedian Bill Cosby’s former lawyer.

Those with knowledge of Manigault Newman’s hasty removal from the White House said she is “very concerned” trouble looms on the horizon.

Manigault Newman apparently believes she will become a fixture in Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential race.

Mueller’s probe includes possible collusion between Russia and Trump’s election campaign, a charge that the president has repeatedly denied.

Trump has also frequently labeled Mueller’s investigation a “witch hunt” aimed at discrediting him and his administration.

Manigault Newman first achieved national fame as a contestant on the first season of “The Apprentice,” the reality television series once hosted by Trump on NBC.

Conflicting media reports emerged last month about whether Manigault Newman voluntarily resigned from the White House or was fired by chief of staff John Kelly.
