Famous rapper Kodak Black - real name Dieuson Octave - is in jail following an arrest Thursday night on weapons, drug, and child neglect charges, according to our affiliate WPEC.
WPEC on Friday reported that according to the Broward County, Florida Sheriff's Office, the 20-year-old Pompano Beach rapper is charged with grand theft of a firearm.
Black is also charged with two counts of possession of weapons by a felon, possession of marijuana, child neglect, and two counts of probation violation.
Details of the arrest are not known at this time.
In the past, despite a successful music career, Kodak Black has had extensive legal trouble.
According to WPEC's sister station WPDE, Kodak Black is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Florence, South Carolina in February 2016.
He has been out on bond since December 2016, but has been in and out of jail in Broward County after violating terms of his house arrest.
