Paris Hilton got engaged to actor Chris Zylka

Socialite Paris Hilton on Tuesday confirmed her and actor Chris Zylka are engaged following a recent ski trip in Aspen, Colorado.

“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” she told People. “I have never felt so happy, safe and loved.”

“He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist,” the 36-year-old added of her 32-year-old fiancée.

“I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever.”

Zylka proposed to Hilton last weekend while the pair where posing for a photograph during their stop in Aspen.

The actor – who was part of the main cast on HBO’s television drama “The Leftovers” from 2014 to 2017 – on Tuesday voiced excitement over his future wife.

“Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out,” Zylka told People. “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl.”

Hilton, who is the great-granddaughter of the founder of Hilton Hotels, on Tuesday posted a photo of herself with Zylka following their recent engagement.

People on Tuesday reported that Hilton and Zylka met at an Oscar Awards party in 2010 before eventually reconnecting two years ago.

Hilton made their relationship social media official last year in an Instagram post, and she has since repeatedly posted glowing remarks about Zylka on social media.

Zylka surprised Hilton last year by getting a large tattoo of her first name in a Disney-style font on one of his forearms.

Hilton appeared on the reality television series “The Simple Life” alongside fellow socialite Nicole Richie from 2003 to 2007, a program that aired first on Fox and then on E!
