“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” she told People. “I have never felt so happy, safe and loved.”
“He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist,” the 36-year-old added of her 32-year-old fiancée.
“I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever.”
Zylka proposed to Hilton last weekend while the pair where posing for a photograph during their stop in Aspen.
The actor – who was part of the main cast on HBO’s television drama “The Leftovers” from 2014 to 2017 – on Tuesday voiced excitement over his future wife.
