Legendary New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady found an interesting way to combat the intense cold in Foxborough, Massachusetts, today. And it's exactly as intense a remedy as you would expect from the laser-focused Patriots leader.
That's right. In order to combat the plummeting temperatures (13 degrees at the time of writing), Brady decided to wear a scuba suit underneath his uniform while the rest of the Patriots squad opted for long-sleeve uniforms.
It is, however, unclear how effective Brady's strategy will be. Wetsuits aren't normally worn on dry land. According to National Geographic, the garment keeps the wearer warm underwater by trapping a thin layer of liquid right next to the wearer's skin and heating it to the wearer's body temperature (hence the name).
Unless Brady's constantly dousing the skin underneath the scuba gear, or he's relying on sweat, he might be in for a chillier afternoon than he thought.
