We all know, Palm Beach County is home to the so-called Winter White House, President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. What's a little less known is that the county is also home to the worlds biggest Trump fan.
That's what Gene Huber calls himself.
Whenever the President visits, there's a crowd of supporters at the bridge that goes over to Mar-a-Lago. Gene Huber is a staple on the bridge, a bridge celebrity you might say.
Huber's Boynton Beach home doubles as a Donald Trump museum, souvenir shop, and a fully functioning multi-media studio.
"He loves each and everyone one of us Americans and this is what he's doing, he's working so hard for us."
Gene hosts a daily web show that highlights the accomplishments of President Trump. He uses costumes and wigs to create characters, those characters are supposed to represent the everyday people Trump is helping. "I do comedy, I sing and lip-synch, we talk about the president and we the people," Huber said.
Gene once shared an on-stage hug with Trump at a rally and that moment is now frozen in time, emblazoned on T-shirts. "To me, it's love and support, that's what it's really all about," Huber said.
And Gene loves putting on the shirt, leading a cheering crowd on the edge of the bridge as the president comes and goes at Mar-a-Lago. "He feels that welcome and that's big, that's really big to him," Huber said.
Gene says President Trump knows him by sight now and is always friendly, he says the president thrives on the energy of his base, so Gene has taken it upon himself to be a cornerstone of that base.
"I'm a super fan, that's my name, yes I go every day, five seconds to wave to our president when he goes back to Mar-a-Lago that's what he talks about."
Gene says he has traveled to every rally the president has ever held. When the president leaves to go back to Washington, Huber says he will be out there waving goodbye.
