We're live at the Big Apple Circus as they celebrate their 40th anniversary

0

We're backstage at what has been a staple of the New York City holiday celebration for decades, Big Apple Circus.

After financial troubles darkened the ring, Big Apple Circus is back and at its rightful home, Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park. This famous "Circus with a Heart" has a strict "No Wild Animals" policy but that doesn't mean you won't see something spectacular in this one-ring circus. Why only one ring? Because that gets you closer to the action. No seat is more than 50 feet from the ring.

Nik Wallenda, hailed as "The King of the High Wire" and the Fabulous Wallendas have been performing a seven-man pyramid on the high wire and dazzling audiences.
