Rapper Eminem on Monday said that he is wishing for President Trump’s impeachment next year.
“I hope he gets impeached,” he told Vulture when asked how he hopes Trump’s presidency turns out in 2018. “I’d be there for that.”
“He makes my blood boil,” Eminem continued. “I can’t even watch the news anymore because it makes me too stressed out.”
“I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge.”
Eminem admitted he was initially infuriated by Trump’s supporters, adding he now focuses his fury on just the president.
“Yeah, Trump had me so mad with all his bullsh-t that I was thinking, ‘I hope everybody who voted for him gets f----d and learns a lesson,’” he said. “But that was wrong.”
“I don’t want any voters to get f----d,” the “Untouchable” singer added. “Everyone’s trying to improve their lives.”
“I just feel mad that Trump’s sold people a dream that’s never coming true. I want the division in this country to stop.”
Eminem added that Trump did not have the best interests of his backers in mind for his presidency.
“The people that support him are the people he cares about the least and they don’t even realize it,” he said.
“At what point do you – a working-class citizen, someone who’s trying to make sh-t better for you and your family – think this guy who’s never known a struggle his entire f-----g life, who avoided the military because of bone spurs, who says he’s a billionaire, is really looking out for you? He’s got people brainwashed.”
Eminem last Friday released his ninth studio album, “Revival,” which boasts several songs hammering Trump.
The rapper foreshadowed the record with a freestyle aimed at Trump during the BET Hip Hop Awards last October that has since gone viral.
“Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line – you’re either for or against,” he warned listeners during “The Storm.”
